Section 1. The burning in any fashion of construction materials, demolition materials, used lumber, fencing refuse, household items, chemicals, or any other material of a man-made nature is prohibited.

Section 2. Materials grown upon the specific property where the burning occurs is allowed. Such materials as trees, brush, grass, leaves, and other plant material grown on the property is exempt from these burning regulations.

 

Section 3. Prohibited materials shall be promptly removed from the property and taken to the Guthrie County Transfer Station for proper disposal.

Section 4. Violation of these regulations shall be a simple misdemeanor subject to the provisions of Sec-tion 137.21 of the Code of Iowa.
